A picture diary

I am updating on the past few days....

Friday:

Samantha picked me up and we went back to Akron!



We went to see Where the Wild Things Are - it was incredible!




Saturday:

BFF Mom gave me a new pair of shoes! (well new to me at least)



BFF Mom and Cheryl drove me back to Columbus while I listened to Joanna Newsom and took pictures of the trees.







I made some new friends and we went to a college homecoming party - it didn't look like this... I wish!




Sunday:
Besides Nikki coming back, it was boring. I did homework and slept most of the day. I would have skipped it on here, but I feel like you would have noticed.



Monday:
I tried all day to get tickets to see St. Vincent and Andrew Bird because the show was sold out. I was disappointed when I found out I couldn't even enter in a chance to win some in a whistling contest because it was at a bar and I'm not twenty one quite yet... Christina went to the bar with Sean for the whistling contest anyway (despite the fact that he can't whistle) and he won two free tickets! I guess they ended up having a raffle because it was too loud in the bar to hear anyone's whistle. But he only got tickets for the two of them... I thought for sure I wasn't going. But then Christina called me from the show, she got me a free ticket while she was there because some chick's boyfriend stood her up and Christina just happened to overhear... so I got a last minute ride from Tyler and picked up my ticket that they held for me at the front with my name one it! It was magical! I missed St. Vincent in the first half but I still got to see Annie play when she came on with Andrew Bird and did a couple of her songs. At the end everyone else from St. Vincent came on... so I really didn't miss out entirely! Ahh, it was a good show! And even better that it was free!


Andrew Bird took off his shoes and had one dark sock and one rainbow colored one. He talked of kittens and soothed my heart with his lovely songs!



Well then I came home, finished my homework and watched Mean Girls with Nikki!



Today:
Nice weather - nice feelings. Tomorrow I might go see Bird and Flower again! So far this has been such a nice fall!
